OBJECTIVE:
Create a memorable and informative PSA about Nephrotic Syndrome (for network broadcast) that utilizes Teresa's celebrity status and actual sufferers of Nephrotic Syndrome (the children).

THE SOLUTION:
I knew that Nephrotic Syndrome is a kidney disease that affects mostly children. So when Henry, the foundation’s media director called me to collaborate, we knew right away that pictures of bed-ridden swollen kids hooked up to all manner of medical machines would be too morbid for our NBC prime time PSA.

Instead, I wrote a script that stayed clear of the standard PSA tropes that also felt uplifting and positive.  Knowing that I’d be meeting the kids for the first time on the day of the shoot, we booked a teleprompter that they could read from, which turned out to be the most important piece of gear on set. 

Shot on the Arri Alexa with Cooke S4 prime lenses.  Avid Media Composer to Davinci digital workflow.

OBJECTIVE: ESTABLISH A NEW LOOK AND FEEL FOR A LUXURY ATHLEISURE CLOTHING MANUFACTURER. IN COLLABORATION WITH COOPER.MEDIA 


BRANDING CAMPAIGN:
CREATING AN ANALOG LOOK FOR A DIGITAL AGENCY

There’s something beautifully chaotic about the inspiration boards that adorn the walls of our finer creative agencies. I’m talking about the blissful, colorful collage of magazine tears, works of art and a multitude of color swatches, all arranged in a beautiful, random-not-random pattern that seems to channel the fearless, inner child of the creator.

Such was the case at Cooper.Media, a boutique agency in NYC. The owner approached me in need of an innovative and inspiring concept. We began by experimenting with shower curtains and plastic block letters, and ended up in the break-room kitchen with magnetic letters, fashion magazines, a pair of scissors and a whole bunch of double-sided tape.

The result:
A digital media campaign that is unique enough to cut through the clutter.   An organic, clever , stylish and delightfully pretentious mood with a handcrafted touch.  

Cooper.Media are gearing up to relaunch their site in the fall of 2017.
